Powder Brows

What Are Powder Brows?
Powder Brows, also known as Ombre Brows, is a semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create soft, powdered eyebrows, similar to the effect of wearing brow powder. Unlike traditional microblading, which creates hair-like strokes, Powder Brows gives a misty, powdered look that fades from dark to light, making the brows appear fuller and defined while still looking natural.
This method is especially suited for individuals with oily or sensitive skin, who may not be ideal candidates for microblading. It’s also a great option for those looking for a more filled-in brow appearance.

The Step-by-Step
Powder Brows Treatment
1. Book a Free Consultation

Before your treatment, you will need to book a free 30-minute consultation. During this session, we will discuss your desired brow shape, color, and style, assess your skin type, and review any medical history that may affect the procedure. This is your chance to ask any questions and gain a clear understanding of what to expect during and after the treatment. It's a crucial step to ensure we create brows that best suit your facial structure and personal preferences.

2. Brow Mapping and Design

During the treatment appointment, we will begin by using brow mapping techniques to design the perfect brow shape based on the measurements of your face. This step is essential for ensuring symmetry and achieving a natural look. You'll have the opportunity to approve the design before moving forward.
3. Pigment Application

Once you're numb and the shape is approved, I will begin the Powder Brows process. Using a specialized machine, tiny dots of pigment are implanted into the skin's top layers. This builds up the desired intensity and gradient. The technique ensures the brows fade gently from a darker tail to a lighter, more natural front.

4. Finishing Touches

Once the initial application is complete, we'll assess the brow's shape and pigment. Any necessary adjustments are made to ensure the brows are perfectly symmetrical and natural-looking.

Healing Process

The healing process for Powder Brows takes around 4-6 weeks. Here's what to expect:

-
Days 1-2: Fresh Look
Your brows will appear bold and dark immediately after the procedure. This is normal and expected, as the pigment is still settling.

-
Days 3-7: Peeling
Around day 3, the brows may start to scab lightly, and you will notice some flaking. It’s essential not to pick at the scabs, as this can result in pigment loss.

-
Days 8-14: Lighter Appearance
After the peeling phase, your brows may appear significantly lighter. This is part of the healing process as the skin regenerates. Don’t worry, the pigment will resurface as the skin heals.

-
Days 15-30: Colour Settles
Over the next few weeks, the pigment will gradually darken and settle into the skin, revealing a natural, soft powder finish.

A follow-up appointment is typically scheduled 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment to touch up any areas where the pigment may have faded unevenly during healing.
